NPD Group, the US video game market research company, has published the results for August. The software ranking sees all the sports game of Electronic Arts Madden NFL 18, while the other two podium stages are the evergreen Grand Theft Auto V and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

On the whole, however, August saw a small drop in sales compared to the same period last year, despite the release of major securities.

In detail there was a 2% drop in total turnover of $ 568 million. The result is due to a slight decline in game sales, while hardware and accessories have risen by 6% and 10%, respectively. Below is the Top 20 of the software ranking:
